The concept of <strong>therapeutic adherence<\/strong> refers to patients completing the treatment fully and on time as prescribed by the doctor. Not adhering to a medical treatment results in increased pharmaceutical spending for the health authority due to the patient&#8217;s lack of recovery and the need for a new treatment, and for the laboratory, it leads to a decrease in sales as both doctors and patients perceive their products as not working properly. If we try to remember the last flu we had, we can see that the antibiotics prescribed to us have been reduced to three pills taken over three days. Before it was 3 pills a day for 10 days. Why this change in the therapeutic model? To ensure adherence that benefits everyone: the patient, the health authority, and the doctor.<\/p>\n<p>If we draw a parallel between &#8220;<em>therapeutic adherence<\/em>&#8221; to treatments and the implementation and monitoring of corporate training processes, we would like to indicate that the training managers in companies have some concern about the &#8220;<em><strong>adherence<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; to training paths and programs, both in-person and distance learning.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of &#8220;<em><strong>training adherence<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; in itineraries and training processes, from Optimum&#8217;s perspective, is conceived as the proactive follow-up of distance training actions after an impact or in-person course.<\/p>\n<p>To increase &#8220;<strong>adherence<\/strong>&#8221; to training itineraries and programs, we are sure that applying gamification techniques through specially developed apps will produce an exponential increase in the transfer of concepts and in the active participation of the participants in each training process.<\/p>\n<p>The question is, why do we dedicate more time to learning through play than to learning in a more traditional format? For the simple reason that, if we are presented with a fun challenge, where we compete against our immediate environment, our peers, with levels, and it can provoke corporate recognition, we get involved immediately and addictively.<\/p>\n<p>Given this behavior of people, those <strong>responsible for training face the challenge<\/strong> of transferring traditional training itineraries and processes to gamified itineraries and programs that can be accessed from smartphones.
