As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic we are experiencing, we are facing very exceptional situations both in our professional and personal lives.

Within the professional sphere, we find ourselves in a situation where, in many sectors, salespeople cannot be received by clients due to understandable health precaution measures. For example, all laboratories and suppliers to hospitals, nursing homes, etc., are required to cease their commercial activities.

What is the current situation of many companies? That they don’t know what their sales teams will do in the next month or month and a half.

During this 2020, in addition to the different vacation periods we already have established, almost 6 commercially productive weeks will be lost.

Once we become aware of this situation, that’s when we remember Santa Barbara and start looking for activities that are important for the sellers, and we never give them enough time, like training.

We also remember that if we had implemented the Corporate Social Selling project from Optimum Ventas, our sales team would now be just as productive, if not more so, than under normal circumstances, because they would be selling proactively through a digital channel like LinkedIn.

Regardless of whether we have exceptional situations like the current ones or not, it is already an essential requirement for any company that its sales teams have the appropriate level of performance, allowing them to have a sales methodology through digital channels and strong relationship and sales skills.

All those companies that have already implemented a sales system through LinkedIn introduced by Optimum Ventas will be more effective than their competitors.
