The digitalization of our society and corporate environment has led our organizations and teams to increasingly develop their professional performance based on their value contribution, generated from their knowledge of the market, the product, and the benefits they offer to customers.
Therefore, knowledge is an intangible asset that does not always have a development and consolidation strategy in companies. For example, in many companies, there are career development plans, but very few have career completion plans. thought out to leverage the accumulated knowledge during the years of work of the people who work in our organization.
Knowledge management platforms are not delivering the expected results in all companies, perhaps due to a lack of corporate culture towards knowledge management from the perspective of an intangible asset.
This situation, to some extent, may be the result of the fact that knowledge cannot yet be valued in financial terms. (Although we will address this in a future post, as there are already companies that are starting to do this as an appendix to their corporate memory.)
The reality is that today, on average, professionals consume five times more information every day than in 1986, an incredible amount equivalent to 174 newspapers a day, and additionally, the time we dedicate to online training has grown nine times in the last 16 years.

- Incorporating into the corporate culture the recognition of the value of knowledge. Generating methods for the economic valuation of knowledge.
- Establishing a platform that collects, indexes, and delivers knowledge. Encouraging its use.
- Enhancing individuals’ personal brand based on the knowledge provided.
